Dr. Tau Braun to teach "Violence Prevention for Healthcare Professionals" for NOVA this semester

Dr. Tau Braun, Executive Director of the Violence Prevention Agency, will be presenting as a guest lecturer for NOVA Southeastern University again this semester. Healthcare is considered high risk with regard to security and safety. Understanding violence and violence prevention is an important skill for anyone pursuing a career in this field.

Dr. Braun approaches the subject with sensitivity and uses his clinical knowledge and experience to make the class relevant, engaging, and accessible to healthcare students at all levels of study. He provides strategies that equip the students with ways to detect, reduce, and resolve behavior that may escalate into violence.
